after i tap the DE-ACTIVATE iPHONE, "SIM not valid" appeared. and now it is being stocked there. i cant go back to my home and to cydia. i tried to off it then turned on but still it ended to "SIM NOT VALID".. if i press the home botton- Emergency call, start over, wi-fi settings appear. Do u have any idea what to do?? im helpless!! ='(

It worked for me. At first, it didn't until the part that I have to plug it to the computer. It doesn't recognize the sim. But then, I updated Itunes and restarted my pc. Tried again and it worked. Sooooo glad. I've been waiting for this. Thanks to the one who posted the video. It was a big help. More Power!

I started with the SAM method to unlock my iphone 4S but it could not read my sim card . Is there any way I can unlock the phone for that card without actually having to insert it (I have the card on me) ?Thanks

Hello , I am staying in Malaysia and so i dont have the At&t Sim card .. the question is should i have the At&t Sim card to unlock my device although i tend to use gevey sim with baseband 4.3.3 before i updated to ios 5.1 . thanks

it's work for me in indonesia, iph4 ios 5.1 with new baseband.. but i have semitethered jailbroken, and i has been downgrade to 5.0.1 and re-unlock using SAM.. works like a charm, thx....

Finally after 4 months of wait i can my use iphone. Thank you Sam and every else who was involved in the process of unlocking. Running ios 5.0.1 BB 4.11.08. Took only about 5 minutes to unlock. From: Pakistan: Carrier: U-fone + Warid worked flawlessly.

You do not need the Atnt sim.

GREAT NEWS: I unlock an AT&T iPhone 4 with SAM method, I was running 5.0 version, I updated to 5.1 thru I tunes using a custom baseband preserve that Redsnow has. I was successfully, activated with the sim card I unlocked thru Sam. I did not have to install cydia. I can turn off iPhone and turn on again. No problem.No need to reboot

Hi I'm philippines. My iphone 4 has globeph carrier bundle but i dont see smartph carrier bundle. I tried automatic it was succesful but no signal and no service. i believe the carrier bundle for smart is needed for it to work. Need help please

Delete ACUtil, SAM, SAMPrefs and StockifyI have deleted the ACUtil package and then my phone got restarted automatically and now is in mode - activation. I get the message that the sim card is not supported and I cannot do literally anything on my phone. I am srewed. I beg for help ;[[

I went through the whole process correctly but at the end its not picking up the tmobile services. Should I continue to plug and un plug to itunes or should I just keep it connected and wait.
