works fine to open up for Telenor in Swedan. Movistar (ES) locked 4S 5.0.1 FM 1.10.13took a couple of tries, had to fiddle with auto and carrier to get it going

Unlock works.For those of you having invalid SIM issues. Use the auto detect mode-don't go back to the general screen but connect to iTunes on the same screen. iPhone should now be activated. Disconnect from iTunes, disable SAM then re-connect iTunes. Your iPhone should now be unlocked (ignore activation error).Great job! Been waiting for unlock for over a year now

Sprint can blacklist the ESN if i don't pay my bill. Thats with any carrier. In order to go back to sprint you take about the sim card and put the sprint sim card back in.

Yes if you don't pay your bill, Sprint will give the phone a bad ESN. I just took the ATT sim out and put the Sprint sim back. By doing this you will have to do the step all over again to make ATT etc to work again.

also works on fw 4.2.1 bb 3.10.01. used a gevey before but now i don't need to! now to check if i can update to 5.0.1 without a hitch

This method works perfectly on IOS 5.1 with baseband 04.12.01 tethered jailbreak.But it doesn't show the "phone cannot be activated" message

delete the old package and re add the bingner repo and download that one......the repo seems to be down right now though. It'd propbably getting hit very hard so it might take few hours to add it fyi.

I was finally got my CDMA iPhone 4S unlocked, I'm using using Globe Telecom which is a GSM network. at first, I can send text messages, but after a few hours, I can't send anymore text messages. But I can still receive incoming texts as well as making calls and receiving calls.DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY? PLEASE HELP ME! :(

Hi Guys: I must use my phone with the ATT SIM card here in the US and also with other SIM cards in other countries. Could someone please tell me if I will have problems with switching SIM cards after the SAM unlock?Thanks.

it works bb 4.12.01 trinidad but only works with one sim can that be changed

It worked for me! I unlocked my iphone4 that was locked with ATT. The only problem I am having now, is that it is not giving me 3G, just E when I use the internet. Anyone else having this problem? I activated it with T-Mobile. Thank you all for all your help!

You can use any simcard with current carrier as long as it hasn't been used to unlock yet. Hope it will help

I think you can use any sprint sim card as long as that sprint sim card hasn't been used to unlock yet.

Hey I am new to jailbreaking and unlocking iphones. I started with the SAM method to unlock my iphone 4S but it could not read my sim card . Is there any way I can unlock the phone for that card without actually having to insert it (I have the card on me) ?Thanks

Hi,I have iphone 4 locked on at&t Usa and i am using it with geven with vodafone spain network.I am trying to unlock it with Sam, After doing the spoof, i try to do attempt activation but I do not get that option, I just have Restore Activation.Please advise.Regards,Jatin

Ir worked for me without original sim, iPhone 4 is AT&T,5.01 I used a sim card from Telcel (Mexico) the problem I had to use cydia to install Sam, now I have to reboot if turn phone off to use Safari or access email accounts
